The Blog Parties: DEAD PIXELS

The Blog Parties is a monthly showcase that brings the sound of musicblogs. Every first thursday of the month an upcoming live act, accompanied by host DJs Dans Le Rock and a guest DJ. On this first edition the main act is Dead Pixels from London. Dead Pixels bring reminiscence to Joy Division, but somehow seem to avoid sounding like Editors or Interpol. Maybe because of their female singer or because of their electro influences. Sounding dark and catchy at the same time, they are a different sound in the overcrowded London music scene. Also, host DJ duo Dans Le Rock will play their indielectro tunes, and guest DJ ‘To be announced’ will end both nights in style.
