To put events in the order that suits you best, we take your favorite categories, tags, tips from your network (and much more secret tricks) into account. This way we automatically collect and organise your most relevant events at several areas within TipSpot.
-
What are categories?
Categories are general genres within the mainstreams 'Music & Nightlife' and 'Arts & Culture'. New events in your favorite categories are automatically collected on your personal homepage under the tab 'recently added'. On the events page you can easily filter all the events, according to your favorite categories. Of course we also keep your favorite categories in mind when we sort the events in a relevant order.
-
What are tags?
Tags are keywords or specific labels that TipSpot members made up themselves and add to their tips to make the event easier to find. All events with your favorite tags are automatically collected on your personal homepage. Of course we also keep your favorite tags in mind when we sort the events in a relevant order.
-
What's your network?
Your network consists of your friends and other interesting members that keep you up to date of what's happening in the city. You can add members to your network and from then on their tips will be collected on your homepage. You can expand your network with friends but for instance also with clubs, dj's, bloggers, stores, magazines, etc. Other members can also add you to see the events that you tip on their own homepage. They can only see the tips you share with 'everyone'. If you add these members to your network they can also see the tips that you shared with 'only your network'.
-
Can I edit my favorite categories and tags?
